The red-blazed Table Rock Trail is a challenging 3.6-mile hike located in the scenic Table Rock State Park in the northwestern corner of South Carolina.
While the park features over 12 miles of trails, the Table Rock National Recreation Trail is the only one that climbs 2,000 feet to the summit of Table Rock Mountain, which stands at 3,124 feet. Starting at the Nature Center, the trail climbs steeply through an open forest dotted with boulders. Along the route, hikers encounter vegetation typical of the Southern Appalachian region, including oak, hickory, scattered pines, and hemlocks. Though strenuous, the hike is well worth the effort, offering stunning panoramic views from the rocky outcrops near the summit.

It’s our honor to welcome all active-duty military, veterans, and first responders – come hike with us and be celebrated!
