The Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, also known as the Ravenel Bridge or Cooper River Bridge, is a striking cable-stayed structure that spans the Cooper River, linking downtown Charleston with Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
With a main span of 1,546 feet (471 meters), it ranks as the third longest cable-stayed bridge in the Western Hemisphere. Constructed using the design–build method, the bridge was engineered by Parsons Brinckerhoff and stands as both a vital transportation link and an iconic feature of the Charleston skyline.
